IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!

We had our 20 week ultrasound on October 18th at 8:00am and found out we are having a GIRL! We couldn't be more excited and blessed! I have already started shopping for her wardrobe! It's hard not to when everything  is so little and cute! Here are a few ultrasound pictures.

Happy 1st birthday Jackson!

Jackson has turned one! Looking back on the year, we have no regrets! We got to do some many awesome things with Jackson and watching him learn and experience new things each day has been such a joy to Carl and I! Here is a video of photos that I took each week that he turned another week older.

Jackson's VA birthday party

On Oct 2nd we celebrated Jackson's birthday here in Virginia with his closest friends. We had about 9 little ones running around all within about 2-3 months of eachother. It was quite exciting! Jackson was the only one who couldn't walk! Here are a few pictures!

I'm Back!!!

Well I know I've disappeared for awhile but we are finally moved in and mostly unpacked. In the next couple days I'll be doing alot of updating on this site with pictures from Jackson's 1st birthday party, our new house, and baby #2 updates!

Baby #2 on the way!

We have some very exciting news to announce...Baby #2 is on it's way! Due to arrive around March 5, 2011. We are beyond excited! My sister Julie is also expecting Baby #2 due January 20th! We swear we didn't plan it that way - actually there is no way we could have. This was definitely God-ordained :)

Outer Banks Vacation

Wow I'm really behind on blogging! So much has happened lately and these summer days are just flying by! We took a vacation with my family and siblings to the Outer Banks - Corolla, NC from June 19-26. It was a BLAST! We had such a good time and are already planning for next year! We packed each day full of activities - usually started out at the pool, then the beach, then lunch, then back to the pool, then walleyball or volleyball, dinner and then basketball at 9pm. We also went crabbing and rented jetskis. That was really fun but scary too! Carl, Kate and I rode together and Carl drove most of the time. I was so scared he was going to flip us. It was so hot down there every day that we pretty much had to sit under shade at the pool. We made the mistake of getting too much sun the first day. Jackson loved the pool and was such a good boy. We didn't take him down to the beach too often but did a few times at night and let him crawl and touch the sand. He liked squeezing it thru his fingers. We can't wait to go back next year and hopefully with more family and friends.

Our weekend trip to Pittsburgh with Friends over Memorial day weekend

We took our friends, The Karimians, home with us to show them around our home town of Pittsburgh. We stayed with my sister Julie, and her husband Jon and baby Jake. It was so much fun to have 3 babies that were within 2 months of eachother. We walked around downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday, rode the incline up to Mt. Washington and then finished up eating at famous Primanti Bros! Also that night we went to my Aunt Dorie's to swim. They have a heated inground pool and it was so nice and warm to take the babies in. On Sunday we went to my parents house and had a cookout and played volleyball. Then when we got home and the babies were asleep we whipped out Taboo - Girls vs. Guys. And of course the girls dominated! All in all we had a fabulous time! Here are some of my favorite pics!
