Our New House

We are having a townhome built in Goose Creek Village that should be done end of August/early September. It was just started last week and we are soo excited about it! I will post more updates as they come. Here are a few pictures from ground-breaking.

May is flying by!

A little recap on the month of May! The first weekend of May I went to a Ladies Conference with my close friend Amy associated with her church. It was a great experience and loved time with other ladies. Also that weekend our landlords and great friends, The Siwierka's, had their annual Kentucky Derby party. It's always a fun time with LOADS of yummy food and friendly faces. The following weekend - May 7-9 - we went back to Pittsburgh to celebrate Mother's Day, Timmy's 1st Communion and Dad Schnur's birthday. Every time we go back we always have a packed, fun time. Then on Sunday, May 16th we went to the National Zoo for Jackson's first visit to see the animals. We met up with 2 other friends and their families. It's fun to watch the kids experience it all. It was a hot day and we were so glad to be home that night! That brings us to this weekend - Friday night we had a game night with friends, we always leave with our stomachs hurting from laughter!. On Saturday we had Jackson's 7 month pictures taken by Angela Smith and then went on to a BBQ picnic for new parents. The pictures turned out A-MAZING! I fall in love all over again when I see the pictures of Jackson and the innocence of a baby. Enjoy the pictures. More updates to come! In June we are off to the Outer Banks and can't wait!

Jackson loves his sweets!

Jackson helped me make brownies the other day and I tried to give him just one taste but that clearly wasn't acceptable. He wanted the WHOLE beater himself! The next picture is him drinking my chocolate shake after our walk on this beautiful 85 degree day! <3 my life!

Occoquan, VA photos

 We participated in a marathon shoot with our photographer Angela Smith of AV Smith Photography. She blocked off the whole day to photograph kids and families and it turned out great. It was Jackson's first time experiencing "grass" and he wasn't so excited about it. But there were still some really cute shots!

Jackson is 6 months!

In every blog I write, I feel like I'm writing "can't believe how fast time flies". I'm just soo thankful to be spending every day with the people I love, especially my precious baby Jackson. On his 6 month birthday his Daddy got him his first laptop! He loves pounding on it, just like he does on Mommy's computer. He is cutting 2 teeth and you can now feel one of them coming thru. Yesterday we went for his 6 month checkup. He weighed 15lbs 11oz and was 26 inches long. He also got 2 shots and hardly cried. He is almost ready to sit up all by himself. Here are some recent pics!
