33 weeks - a visit from the family!

On Friday, Mom, Dad, Christy, Rach and Tim came down for a weekend visit. We had a great time together and spent most of Saturday at a waterpark near our house. We must have stayed on the lazy river for 20 laps! At night Christy and Rachel decided to try out their creativity on my belly and boy did they do an awesome job! Check out the pics! Next weekend is our shower and we can't wait!

32 Weeks - Belly Painting and Nursery Update

Can't believe I'm writing about being 32 weeks pregnant. Time seems to just fly by and we're so excited about it. 8 more weeks til baby is here! The nursery is pretty much done. Over the weekend we received his wall art but haven't put it up yet because it has his name on it and we can't leak that yet! Carl installed a ceiling fan too, which is so nice!
On Saturday we met up with some friends who are also expecting and had a cookout and did belly painting. We had so much fun and laughed alot! My belly wouldn't stop shaking so needless to say, Carl had a tough "canvas" to work with. Our shower is on August 22nd and we are really looking forward to it. Can't wait to see all my family and friends!!

30 weeks and Vacation

I just turned 30 weeks and we ran away to Cape May for a long weekend. It was alot of fun being together with no agenda! We laid on the beach, went in the ocean, took walks, rode bikes (7 miles I might add!), played mini golf, and went on a dolphin cruise just to name a few of the big highlights! Most of all we had a great time laughing with eachother and creating memories!! I must say it was a little harder doing the things I'm used to doing at the beach being 30 weeks pregnant! Then once we got back on Monday, Carl headed down to Buy Buy Baby to pick up the last necessary piece for our nursery - our rocker/recliner. It is A-mazing!!! Thanks hunny :)

29 weeks

I feel like I say this every time I write a new post, but time really does fly by! Only 11 more weeks til Baby Schnur's due date and we can't wait! Today we had a great fun filled day starting out at 11am when we woke up!! Then we headed down to the National Harbor in Maryland which is a really cool place right on the Potomac River. The weather was perfect. After that we headed to Buy Buy Baby to order our rocking chair/glider for the nursery. It's so comfortable and we can't wait to pick it up next week! 3D Ultrasound - 28 weeks

Tonight Carl and I had a 3D/4D ultrasound photo session to see our baby boy. He is so cute!! We also invited our sister Laura to join us for this special experience.
Baby Schnur wouldn't cooperate at first and kept his hand by his face. So we took a break and I walked around for a few minutes to try to get him to change positions. Then we were able to get some good shots of his face. His feet and hands were right up close to his face almost the whole time. And we got a good picture of him crossing his feet too. Now we can't wait to see him for real!!

Sister's baby shower

Yesterday was my sister Julie's baby shower and it was alot of fun, lots of work preparing for but it was well worth it! She got lots of cute things! Then I had to drive back to VA which should have been a 4 hour trip but turned into 6 because of the holiday traffic. I'm glad to be home now!! Check out the recent pics of our baby bellies :)
I'm 27 weeks and she is 34 weeks.

We decided to get a head start on the nursery so last night Carl took apart the bed that was there and I helped him set up the crib. The room looks completely different now and we're soo excited about it! Now on to decorating ideas... Here's a few pics so far!
